Introduction

CSE 430  Operating Systems is an introductory course for the conceptual knowledge, underlying the design, implementation and usage of computer operating systems. It is taught to students at the senior level in Computer Science.  The course is conceptual, it does not get to the coding level of operating systems, but covers the protocols, algorithms, and "how it works".

The course is currently taught every semester, by several instructors. This web page pertains to the section taught by Partha Dasgupta.
